Crying for Joy

Yesterday morning I had to cry for joy. After the first two chapters of the book "The Promise of Energy Psychology" (which is EFT) I was overwhelmed by the perspective of how the world will be when most people are using EFT to deal with their problems. How people will learn to neutralize their emotional upheavals from the past, let go and realize that they can be happy all the time, no matter what (If they maintain happy, positive thoughts, of course, by liberating the "pain body"" as Tolle calls it.).
I don't know if there are better books on EFT, because I just practiced it without much reading about it, but this is certainly a good one which , together with the website www.emofree.com, should give you all the info you need to start freeing yourself from negative emotions and beliefs.
Today I read "Creating A Healing Society" by Susan Lawrence. A quick look into emotional trauma and the consequences for society. Crime, violence, addiction and AIDS. It is short, not quite sufficient in my eyes, but an introduction, and since the topic is painful, maybe just what one can manage in one session. I think the topic is more important than anything else right now, because most societies are living in re-enactments of trauma and cultures are traumatizing in their insanity of pretending that everything is all right (even though, of course, on a spiritual level everyting is all right).
Anyway, calling up the suffering, while seeing the solution in EFT and spirituality, in going into the NOW (Tolle) or witness consciousness, gave me a push upwards so that I ended up in a state of mind where I was so distanced from my thinking mind that I was seeing very clearly that I don't need to let anything uncomforting run around in my head. It felt so great that I decided to stay up there for the reat of the day.
But then, I had to come down and share it with you. Life goes on after all, and in the end I need some people who I can talk to, don't I?
One Mind, One Love,
Michael
